"Her instructions are so clear that I find I can do my practice with my eyes closed."

"I have taken yoga with a wide variety of teachers over the course of my 67 years.  Pamela is certainly among one of the best teachers that I have had.  She brings something special to each class.  Her instructions are so clear that I find I can do my practice with my eyes closed thereby making it a very meditative, relaxing and restorative practice for me.  I love that each of her classes is different.  You don't go in knowing what to expect - your body doesn't perform a routine it knows by heart - every class is new and refreshing.  Along with the very clear instructions, Pamela has the perfect voice for a yoga teacher - soft and relaxing."

"...she integrates the spirit and awareness beautifully."

"I have been doing yoga classes with Pamela for almost 3 years now. Pamela has an excellent understanding of the muscle/energy and balance mechanics of yoga and she integrates the spirit and awareness beautifully. She gives instructions for the basics and gives the options for more of a challenge, allowing you to increase your level at your own pace. She structures her class really well, drawing on her wide body of knowledge, classes are not just the same thing over and over. I also love that she reminds us to honor our bodies and work within appropriate levels for yourself at that moment. I have learned that yoga is a gift to yourself- a daily, weekly body-energy-strengthening nutrient, and that my energy levels are different in each class depending what has gone on in my day. Her classes tune you into yourself, which allows you to go deeper into the pose. My practice has improved and become so much more enjoyable with Pamela. She is a gifted yoga teacher"

"Pamela makes learning yoga non-intimidating and fun..."

"I first attended one of Pamela's yoga classes at Creekside Community Centre last year. I had tried classes at different studios around the city, but no class or instructor really stood out before Pamela. She lives and breathes yoga, and her passion is obvious in her teaching. She makes an effort to get to know her students and is always available to answer questions. Pamela makes learning yoga non-intimidating and fun in an incredibly supportive environment. Thank you Pamela!"

"Her classes are taught from the heart."

"I so enjoyed our yoga sessions with Pamela! She is a true delight. Her classes are taught from the heart. I've practiced yoga for many years, and teach yoga as well, so, both professionally and personally, Pamela is a wonderful yoga teacher and beautiful soul. Amatierra Retreat & Wellness Centre in Costa Rica was a life changing experience. I can hardly wait to return."

"...you are in for a real treat."

"If you ever get the chance to have a yoga class with Pamela you are in for a real treat. Her soft caring nature makes you instantly relax and her sensitivity to the individual needs of the class makes you feel that you are being well looked after and guided through your yoga practice at your individual level. Her classes vary each time to keep them interesting and she carefully selects a piece to read during relaxation that is scarily, always incredibly, appropriate each time. Pamela was a joy to meet & work with. If you are up for being good to yourself then book a class with Pamela, you will not regret it"

"She creates a calm and relaxing space..."

"I've known Pamela for a few years now and she is an amazing person which in turn is reflected in her yoga classes. She creates a calm and relaxing space for her students to practice while providing quality instruction. She encourages her students to get in touch with their inner core and being while breathing and relaxing the body, soul and mind. Come find your balance with Pamela! A definite MUST on the 'To Do' list for 2011!"

"...very approachable and engaging..."

"I've tried to get into Yoga in the past before but I could never find an instructor that made me feel comfortable. I always felt bored and could not wait to leave the class. But since being in Pamela's classes at UBC, it is like an awakening! I feel good in her class and she makes me understand the poses explaining why we do them. Her style of teaching is very approachable and engaging, her voice is soothing and peaceful, it sure makes me feel like going to Yoga on a more regular basis. I recommend Pamela to anybody that wants to get into Yoga, I guarantee you'll stay!"

"Her approach to yoga is inspirational."

"I’ve had many different yoga instructors in the past 3 years, all good & unique in their own style; but only a few made me feel refreshed & balanced, walking away afterward. Pamela is one of those exceptional instructors. Her approach to yoga is inspirational. She reminds her students that they are at different stages & levels; she shares her knowledge quite readily in her classes. She takes pride in teaching & it shows. Her classes flow easily between poses; always willing to explain in detail about the benefits of various poses; especially that of proper breathing technique & how it relates to detoxification; relaxation of mind & body. Pamela makes her classroom comfortable, relaxing & inviting. It is always a positive & uplifting experience. I highly recommend Pamela's yoga classes!"
